How can I join?

If you’re between 13 and 16 years old and live in or around Kidlington, you can take advantage of the opportunities we offer.

So that you’re not alone when you join and so that we can give you a proper start in the ATC, we try to arrange groups of recruits to start together on a recruit intake. To help in this, you could always get a friend interested in coming along too. 

On your first evening you’ll find out more about the opportunities we offer and you’ll get a feel for the place. If you don’t think it’s what you’re looking for, there’s no problem if you just tell us you’re not coming again. More often than not though, new recruits can’t wait to get into more activities. 

Although much of what we do is supported or provided by the RAF (including your uniform), we do have to charge a subscription to fund other activities and equipment. This subscription is currently £5 per month but initially, you won’t have to pay a penny.
